Empowering Vocational Educators for Artificial Intelligence-Driven Education: KA 210 - small scale cooperation project.

EDU-AI (Empowering Vocational Educators for Artificial Intelligence-Driven Education) is a 16-month Erasmus+ small-scale partnership project focused on equipping vocational education and training (VET) teachers with AI integration skills and digital competencies.

 

The project runs from February 2024 to May 2025 with a budget of €60,000.

Key objectives:

  • Equip VET teachers with AI integration skills across 9 VET schools in 3 partner countries
  • Enhance modern digital learning methodology integration
  • Offer accessible and customized learning experiences through local workshops and an international conference
  • Establish a collaborative network of at least 100 VET educators
  • Foster continuous improvement culture in VET institutions

Main activities:

 

Creation of EDU-AI Digital Toolkit (Feb-Nov 2024)

  • Comprehensive resource guide for AI integration
  • Interactive format with 3 difficulty levels
  • Available in 4 languages (English, Lithuanian, Italian, Dutch)

Implementation of Events & Network (Dec 2024-May 2025)

  • Local workshops in each partner country (3 workshops x 15 participants)
  • International conference in Belgium (50 participants)
  • Creation of an online community network

Expected results:

  • Development of comprehensive digital toolkit
  • Training of 65 VET educators through direct engagement
  • Establishment of network with 100+ members
  • Enhanced digital competencies among VET teachers
  • Improved integration of AI tools in VET education
  • Sustainable community of practice for ongoing learning
